I’m Jacob Nagy and I've been working in digital design for 4 years. It's been amazing being able to work on projects I'm passionate towards.
I started my design career in college, where I found a genuine interest in what makes a strong user experience. That curiosity quickly led me down a rabbit hole of redesigning frusterating websites and apps (D2L for those who know). It was those redesigns that truly made the industry click for me - seeing people enjoying the designs I created, backed by testing that validated my work, really sealed the deal.
After graduating college, I started working at Revize, a company that makes municipal websites. I honestly couldn't think of a better starting point for a college graduate. The sheer variety of UI design work for communities, combined with my internal UX work, helped sharpen both my design skills and my understanding of user experience.
Recently, I've been focused on mastering accessibility standards and ensuring my work aligns with WCAG guidelines. Digital inclusivity is a priority for me and is something I want to continue including in all my future work.
