My Career, Values, and Passions

It’s nice to meet you!

I'm Jacob, a UX/UI designer with 4 years of experience. I care about creating useful and beautiful products that help people and make a difference.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2022, where I learned about wireframing, user research, prototyping, and beyond. Since then, I've worked as a UI Designer for a GovTech company called revize. My day-to-day work is largely filled with connecting with clients about modernizing their website's UI and discussing specific UX issues their users are having.

As I've worked here, I've been able to expand my responsibilities to include an internal focus. A variety of design-related projects, from creating marketing flyers to designing software components like our calendar app, have been overseen by me in some format. Just recently, I was able to design our new accessibility toolbar and redesign our flagship website!

Recently, I've been interested in better understanding accessibility standards to make sure my work aligns with WCAG guidelines. Digital inclusivity is a priority for me and is something I want to include in all my future work.
